The transfers have mostly been disapointing but I wonder how much of it is his work.
I still have faith in Fornals, Haller and Diop
It´s mind boggling they haven´t signed a centre midfielder and full backs

Fornals was always go to be Lanzini replacement. Still may be.? The likes of Tottenham or Liverpool do this all the time. Like any gamble. You win some you lose some. Before he got injured. Some on here were scoffing at the thought of losing Lanzini for less than £60 million.
As for Husillos out. What do you want Diddy Dave picking up Mido again.! No one hits for a 100. But Husillos is a damm sight better than the SPIVS.

Strongly doubt he's been making any of the big decisions on recruitment - he's Pellegrini's man. No doubt he'd also be the easiest (ie cheapest) scapegoat for the owners.

No one can convince me that bringing in the likes of yarmo, diop, fab, haller, felipe, balbuena is not a good business. It just doesn't make sense to judge him over signing sanchez, roberto, wilshere and other cheap (basically free) players. Every "big" money signing under his reign is quality except maybe for Fornals who, even though didn't show his worth yet, I believe will come up as at least solid player. Husillos is a scapegoat and I hope everyone realise that.
